The Foundation started with meetings attended by just a few members. It has
grown and continues to grow. There are now over400 members of the Foundation. In addition,200 have become Fellows by making a major financial commitment.
There are 24 members on the Foundation's Board of Trustees who represent some of
the best legal talent in our community. All continue to give of their time

assistance to many children and family related charities and organizations and
has provided an outlet for attorneys who want to give back to the community.

acts of giving began with the Valentine Gala, an event that helped raise more
than $2 million for the Sunflower House, a child abuse prevention center in
Johnson County. The Foundation has also helped raise and distribute more than
