Program DetailsExploring how to get better outcomes for clients by proactively developing your debiasing skills in representing clients in negotiations, mediations and dispute resolution, including dealing with opposing counsel and parties. Conscious awareness of implicit bias and embracing cultural diversity is simply a critical skill set for attorneys representing clients in legal conflict.  This one-hour program will explore some of the basics, the science involved, and then dig into methods for the introspection needed to deal with biases and diversity.  Henry has worked with hundreds of attorneys, judges and professionals over the past twenty years to proactively deal with implicit bias, inclusion and cultural diversity in mediation and conflict management settings through mediator training.  All attorneys can benefit from understanding these concepts when representing clients in conflict.
