The Johnson County Bar Association offers continuing legal education programs to support Kansas attorneys in meeting CLE requirements while providing timely, practical, and relevant educational opportunities.
Kansas CLE Requirements
Attorneys with active Kansas licenses are required to complete 12 hours of continuing legal education each year, including 2 hours in professional responsibility. For official CLE rules, requirements, and compliance information, please visit Kansas Continuing Legal Education.
Program Materials
When available, program materials are provided electronically and are typically sent to registrants by email before or after the program.
Attendance & Credit Reporting
Attendees are responsible for meeting any attendance requirements necessary to receive CLE credit. CLE attendance may take time to appear on your Kansas CLE transcript. While reporting is often completed sooner, it may take up to 30 days.
Cancellations & Substitutions
- Please contact the JCBA office as soon as possible if you are unable to attend a program.
- Refunds and substitutions may be available depending on the timing of the request and the type of program.
- Registered attendees may be able to send a substitute with advance notice.
Membership & Registration
- Many programs require members to log in through the Membership Hub to register.
- Only active JCBA members are eligible for member benefits and discounted CLE rates.
